César Cardoso is a screenwriter, writer and blogger. Graduated in Letters from UFRJ. He has written for the newspapers O Pasquim and O Planeta Diário, collaborates with the magazine Caros Amigos and is a TV screenwriter, having written, among others, TV Pirata, Sai de Baixo, A Grande Família and Toma Lá Dá Cá. The First People is his first book of short stories. The book, the 9th of her career not counting appearances in anthologies, has as its central axis the fact that all the stories are narrated in the first person. According to Cesar, "short story books, for the most part, tend to be a collection of what a given writer produced during a period of his life. "The First People" is not like that.
