Lisa Fiset graduated from Concordia University in 1999 with a BA in Sociology and a Minor in French studies. She got her Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia in 2001.
She started her journalism career as an intern at Global News in 2001, going on to work as a reporter for 940 News Radio from 2002-2008.
In her 13 years as a journalist, Lisa has had the privilege to cover many stories, including the 2006 shooting at Dawson College, the De La Concorde overpass collapse, as well as many criminal trials, municipal, provincial and federal elections.
Lisa returned to the Global family in 2008 as a freelance reporter. In 2012, Lisa became the station's managing editor, producing the evening news.
