Rico León was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was raised true to his Puerto Rican heritage. Rico is a successful realtor and construction/restoration consultant known as the host of Rico to the Rescue on HGTV where he helps victims of contractors that have taken advantage of these victims and abandoned their jobs. When his series started in 2023, he was the only Latino host on any of HGTV's show lineup. He also has appeared as a coach on Battle on the Mountain.
