John Jurgens

John Jurgens is an actor who appeared in two Star Trek feature films and was a regular background actor throughout the four-year run of Star Trek: Enterprise. He received no credit for his appearances. Jurgens also portrayed a Borg in the 3-D attraction "Borg Invasion 4D" for Star Trek: The Experience in 2004.

Among his acting resume are guest appearances in the television series Cybill (1998, episode "Farewell, My Sweet" along with John Austin), Wednesday 9:30 (8:30 Central) (2002, starring Ed Begley, Jr. and guest starring Bonita Friedericy), Standoff (2006, directed by David Straiton), and In Case of Emergency (2007, with Leigh Allyn Baker, Garret Sato, Darin Cooper, and Loren Lester) and the horror film Pulse (2006, with Zach Grenier and Brad Dourif, and stunts by Danny Downey).

After wrapping Enterprise Jurgens has worked as a background actor and stand-in on television series such as Cold Case, Heroes, Gilmore Girls, Justice, and The O.C.. He also worked as photo double and stand-in for lead actors Zachary Levi, Ryan McPartlin, and Adam Baldwin on the action comedy series Chuck between 2007 and 2012. In addition, he was featured in the final episode of Chuck, titled "Chuck Versus the Goodbye" (2012, with Bonita Friedricy and Robert Duncan McNeill) and worked as photo double and stand-in for guest actors such as Brandon Routh.

More recently, he appeared in the short comedy The Money Shot (2012), the television comedy Holly's Holiday (2012), and in Bryan Singer's television movie Mockingbird Lane (2012, with Pablo Espinosa and John Kassir) and worked on episodes of Hart of Dixie (2012), Dexter (2013), and Suburgatory (2013), and as stand-in for Jim Parsons on an episode of The Big Bang Theory (2013).

Most recently, he worked as background actor on the horror sequels Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014, with Andy Dick, D.C. Douglas, Austin Priester, and Wil Wheaton) and Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016).
