As a political finance reporter for CNBC, Brian Schwartz is always keeping tabs on the big Washington, D.C., fundraisers and where the money is headed. With a strong Rolodex of sources inside and outside the Beltway, Schwartz has the inside track on the efforts donors are making to influence policies and to control who has the power within the government.

Before working at CNBC, he was a news producer at Fox Business covering elections, tax reform, health care and the intersection between Wall Street and Washington.

Prior to his stint at Fox Business, he was a production assistant at Fox News Channel and the NFL Network.
