Waser Chou, an actor and model from Taipei, Taiwan, moved to Vancouver, Canada, to further his studies after completing his military service.
He was discovered by a talent scout during a winter break visit to Taiwan in 2005 and landed the male lead in the short film Twenty-Three Million Ways to Die (兩千三百萬種死法), marking the start of his acting career. He also modeled under the English name Wasir.
