Briellyn Turton's experience in Interior Design spans across Commercial, Furniture and Residential design - But this isn't where our story begins - Let's go back to the early 00's.
Arranging, decorating and rearranging again she frequently spent days perfecting her bedroom. Travelling often with her mother to visit trash-and-treasure markets all over Sydney, Briellyn quickly became fluent in combining decor and furniture pieces from across styles and era's.
After high school Briellyn went on to study full time as a Performing Arts student at Urban Dance Company in Ultimo, Sydney (She'd been training as a dancer since kindergarten). This combined with her beloved job in hospitality that kept her busy on the weekends saw her develop a unique set of skills. Performing fuelled her creativity and Hospitality gave her a knack for communicating with people and understanding what they wanted, often before they did.
In her early/mid-20's Briellyn officially began her studies as an Interior Designer and enrolled at Billy Blue College of Design. During her second year Briellyn secured a coveted internship at Vogue Living Magazine and shortly after a second internship at Sydney Design Studio, Interior Life. This saw her graduate having already been hired by the studio as a Junior Designer responsible for the design, project management and store roll out of a national food and beverage brand.
Having spent the first years of her career within the commercial design industry Briellyn sought out a more personal relationship with her clients. This lead to the natural progression into Residential Interiors and after a big few years working under the helm of other studios - in 2020 she acted on a career goal - and launched Studio Brie, and well, the best is yet to come.
