Dan Amarante is a meteorologist who works for ABC News in New York. He has the highest certification from the American Meteorology Society as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. This is the highest certification from the American Meteorology Society.  He does roles like the Creation of graphics and reports weather forecasts on platforms including social media, newspaper, television, radio, and mobile. Also, he reports live during extreme weather events including thunderstorms, hurricanes, and ice events.
