Born and raised in middle Georgia, Reginald Lashaun Clay was raised a southern gentleman. It was not until his second year at Georgia Military College, while working a series of odd jobs, including a short stint as a correctional officer, that Shaun decided to pursue an acting career professionally by moving to Atlanta, Georgia.
Having trained under Emmy Award winner Gregory Alan Williams, Shaun has landed a number of productions. His work includes Sleepy Hollow (2014–2015), Scorpion (2016), Shut Eye (2017), and The Pitt (2025).
