Robert Bauval (born 5 March 1948) is an Egyptologist, writer and lecturer, perhaps best known for the fringe Orion Correlation Theory regarding the Giza pyramid complex. Also known as a writer of Conspiracies of the Ancient World: The Secret Knowledge of Modern Rulers (2012), Egypt Exposed: The True Origins of Civilization (2010) and The Pyramid Code (2009).
