Jonathan Petropoulos

Jonathan Petropoulos is an American historian who writes about National Socialism, particularly the fate of art looted during World War II. He is the John V. Croul Professor of European History at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, USA, appointed in 1999. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1990. His work on Nazi art looting and restitution began in 1983.
