Azim Hirani

Azim Hirani is a Los Angeles-based Indian-American actor, dancer, and model raised in Southern California by parents who are real estate entrepreneurs and avid fans of the Indian film industry and music. His passion for the arts and deep connection to his rich culture sparked his desire to become an actor.

At the age of 6, Azim began attending Bollywood dance classes and performing at various cultural festivals. He was selected to a nationally competing Bollywood dance team in his freshman year at the University of California, Irvine and continued to perform at annual culture shows until graduating.

After receiving his dual-degree in Political Science and Business Economics with a minor in Management, Azim entered the world of investment banking. After deciding to pursue a more entrepreneurial career path, Azim began managing his family's real estate assets and training as an actor.

Azim began training as an actor at an acclaimed acting school, Barry John Acting Studio, in Mumbai, India where he received a Diploma in Film Acting. Since returning to Los Angeles later that year, he has trained at Actors Comedy Studio, Second City, Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop, and The Screen Acting Studio with Aaron Speiser.

Azim has appeared in Matlock (CBS) and in the award-winning short films Sight and Stalled. He was also the lead in national Disney+, Bestbuy, and Robinhood commercials. He specializes in Hip Hop dance and Indian dance forms (Bhangra and Bollywood).
