Joshua Obra is a Canadian actor, model, and writer. He was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He's the co-founder and creator of Break2Legs, a platform that he plans to use as a vehicle to give back to his community and provide other actors with varied resources and educational programming.
In 2021, Obra's performance in the feature film Scarborough (2021) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The breakthrough role ushered the film to rave reviews with Variety calling it "a haunting story that deals with themes of trauma, grief, abuse and social injustice". Most recently, he returned to TIFF with his riveting lead performance in the short film Express (2024).
Obra's television credits include Next Stop (2021), Settle Down (2025), and Reacher (2025).
