Isabelle Tate, credited as Izzy Tate, was an American actress. She was born on August 8, 2002 in Nashville, Tennessee. Tate was known for her appearance in the pilot episode of 9-1-1: Nashville in 2025.
Tate died on October 19, 2025 at the age of 23. She had Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, an inherited progressive neuromuscular disorder that causes abnormalities in the nerves that supply the feet, legs, hands, and arms, such as muscle weakness, atrophy in the arms and legs, and sensory loss. She had been confined to a wheelchair.
Tate was known for playing Julie in 9-1-1: Nashville. In the pilot episode, audiences are introduced to Hunter McVey's Blue, a stripper performing at a bar. Julie is in a wheelchair and asks a fellow patron to allow her to see Blue dancing, but she bullies her, showing no empathy. Blue witnesses the encounter and, as a nice gesture, walks down off the stage and gives Julie a lap dance, for which he gets in trouble, as it's against the law in Nashville.
Tate was also quite musically inclined, often spending hours writing and recording songs with friends and even publishing a few.
