Abbey Gelmi is a television presenter and journalist.
Originally from Perth, Abbey now resides in Melbourne and is one of Australia's leading sports media figures. Abbey has hosted prime time Olympic coverage as well as AFL, Cricket and Horse Racing. Abbey is currently the host of the ABC's ‘Offsiders', where she talks all things sport every Sunday morning with experts in their field. Abbey is also a regular fixture on Network Ten's weekly show ‘The Cheap Seats'. Prior to this, Abbey spent 11 years at the Seven Network where she was their go to sports reporter, and host of Seven News weekend sports coverage.
Abbey also hosts the weekly sports podcast ‘Two Good Sports' (iHeartRadio), alongside her best mate Georgie Tunny. Each week the two catch up on all the news and events across the sporting world. Two Good Sports was nominated for multiple awards at the 2024 Australian Podcast Awards.
