William Christopher Watson, also credited as Chris Watson, is an award-winning actor and filmmaker (producer, director, writer) with a strong presence in Miami, Atlanta, and New York City. He has had leading roles in several independent films and web shows, as well as local and national commercials.
As a filmmaker, Chris utilizes classic horror genre tropes in a comedic style to explore kindness, collective punishment, grief, and redemption. He is a world-builder who uses the gothic, altered reality of his stories to uncover issues that impact us all, both individually and as a society at large.
In 2023, he penned his debut feature screenplay, No Dogs Die, which was a finalist at the esteemed Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest in May of 2024. Chris also produced, wrote, and directed a short film version of No Dogs Die in February 2024 which won Best Narrative Short at the Miami Projections Film Festival in July 2024.
William Christopher Watson is fluent in Spanish, an ex-collegiate boxer, trained in Capoeira, and has been playing the electric guitar since he was six. He also has training and experience in fight choreography, stunt wire work, and firearms for film.
