Samantha Winders is a former New Zealand international netball player
Following her playing retirement, Winders returned to New Zealand in 2025 to take up the role of NetballSmart development officer for the Waikato Bay of Plenty region, where she now focuses on injury prevention, athletic development, and coaching young players—drawing on her own low-injury career built on strong fundamentals in movement and deceleration.
