Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Johnny Wactor graduated from College of Charleston in 2009 with a double major in Business and Spanish. Moving to Los Angeles he made his television debut in a 2007 episode of Army Wives. He held a starring role as Johnny on the 2013 series Siberia, and from 2002-2022 was Brando Corbin on long-time running soap opera General Hospital.
Johnny Wactor died of a gunshot wound to the chest at the age of 37 when he interrupted thieves stealing a catalytic converter from his vehicle.
