Charles Kimbrough

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Charles Kimbrough, a classically trained character actor, began his career working on stage and was a member of the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. In 1975 he began appearing on the small screen in episodes of Kojak and Great Performances, and in 1976 a small role in the film The Front. It was in 1988 that he landed the role of Jim Dial in Murphy Brown, and in 2018 he returned to make guest appearances as Jim in the short lived revival.
