Deepak Verma is a British Actor of Indian Punjabi descent and Hindu heritage. He trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is best known for his work on BBC's Eastenders. He is a prolific playwright and runs Pukkanasha Films. Developing a slate of international film and television projects.
In 2010 he conceived Faithshorts a Global Film competition. in 2016 Verma was awarded the M.B.E. by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, for his services to the Arts.
