Jeffrey Schmidt

Jeffrey Schmidt has worked professionally in broadcast, film, stage, and behind the scenes for over 25 years. Recently, he's made appearances on Queen of the South, American Crime and he worked on a live cinema project called Distant Vision with Francis Ford Coppola. He's often seen in national commercials, and his voice can be recognized everywhere from radio commercials to online reading and math tutorials for students. In addition, Jeffrey's an accomplished stage director and award winning set designer. He is the Artistic Director of Theatre Three in Dallas, one of the oldest professional regional theaters in the country. He's co-founder of the acclaimed The Drama Club, which produces original, highly visual, design and ensemble driven theatre. Recently, he was honored with the Mastermind Award for theater by the Dallas Observer. Jeffrey is an incredible carpenter and passionate about home renovation. When he finds time he can be found fly-fishing, shooting photography, or building something. In general, he is considered an outdoors fanatic.
