W. Kamau Bell is a socio-political comedian and host of the CNN Original Series, "United Shades of America." Bell may be best known for his critically-acclaimed FX comedy series, "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell," executive produced by Chris Rock. His first one-hour comedy special -- "Semi-Prominent Negro," directed by Morgan Spurlock -- premiered on Showtime in April 2016. Bell also has a weekly podcast with fellow comedian and "Last Week Tonight" writer Kevin Avery entitled "Denzel Washington is The Greatest Actor of All Time Period."
