Shane Meadows

Born in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England Shane Meadows is a self-taught filmmaker. He began his career creating shorts, originally on his own, and eventually with the support of like-minded friends. The first of his short films to garner attention in the film industry was Where's The Money, Ronnie?, which led to his first commission - a short documentary for Channel 4's Battered Britain series.
