Born in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, Lisa Loring grew up in Hawaii and later moved to Los Angeles with her mother. A former child model from the age of three, she first appeared on television in a 1964 episode of Dr. Kildare. When cast to play Wednesday Addams in the 1964 debut of The Addams Family she was just 6 years old. Her portrayal of the sweet but morbid little girl with a pet black widow spider became iconic.
Lisa Loring died of a stroke at the age of 64.
