In the second episode of Tough as Nails which aired on July 2nd at 9 p.m. and was titled "First Dance", the episode starts with Dirty Hands and Savage Crew doing the second team competition. The challenge involved filling bags with soil and mulch. Dirty Hands was the winner of the second team competition. After the team competition, it shifted to the individual competition where the contestants had to pair up and work with a machine that rolled sod. They would be judged based on the amount of sod that was rolled and how neat the job was. Ben and Dustin both won the individual challenge and earned $2,000 while Carolina and Jessica were the two that went into overtime (the elimination round). The task for this episode of overtime was installing an aerator in the middle of the pond while using a canoe that had holes. Carolina's boat quickly sank due to having too much water get in, and Jessica was able to beat her, so Carolina became the first contestant to punch out of the individual competition.
