The two strangers chosen to star in this love story meet in Yokohama. Maai studies at a university in Okinawa, and Takuto works as a chef in Tokyo.

For their third date, Maai visits Hokkaido for the first time. Takuto wants to show her everything he loves about his hometown.

After the two spend the morning together in Sapporo, Takuto leaves Maai to complete an important mission and promises to be back soon.

On her way to the airport, Maai thinks about the time she's spent with Takuto. Then she looks at her bracelet and finds a hidden clue.

The pair spend the night around a campfire on a beach in Okinawa. Takuto reveals his true feelings and gets an unexpected response.

Waking up to find Takuto gone, Maai wonders what it could mean. Later, she gets her next future diary entry and heads to Tokyo.

After receiving their new future diary entries, Takuto and Maai meet at a shrine for their final date and think about their romantic journey.

Following an emotional encounter, Takuto and Maai reflect separately on their monthlong love story and look toward the future.
