Varvara, a coachwoman, moves from the 19th century to the 21st century. The family of taxi driver Barankin gets superpowers thanks to magic power stones.

Barankin is looking for a way to bring Varvara back to the past. His son, Lyosha, wants to establish a relationship with his wife, Luda, by reading her thoughts.

Professor Petrenko tells Barankin about the stones of power. Varvara learns the benefits of the 21st century, and Luda is afraid that Lyosha is cheating on her.

Barankin is trying to impress Petrenko. With the help of the power stone, Luda wants to find out what Lyosha is really thinking about.

Varvara encounters Velimir, a member of the order of Freethinkers, who is looking for stones. A classmate from the Vova Conservatory stands up for Lena.
