Despite their loss in the Sandpiper Classic, Kris and Wildfire get lots of media attention. They also pique the interest of a sports agent. Meanwhile, Junior leaves home, and Kris and Matt go to look for him.

Kris's new agent encourages her to audition for a television commercial, sparks fly again between Kris and Junior, and Dani starts up her own stable.

Kris volunteers at a charity event in a prison and is tempted to go back to her old ways, and Matt and Junior open their new club.

Kris has to call Junior for help when there is a crisis at Raintree. Meanwhile, Jean and Charlie have gone a romantic holiday together, and Matt tries to buy a horse for Dani.

Matt is training Kris for a race, but he is also working closely with her rival. Plus, Todd tries to cut the apron strings from Jean, and Isabelle's intentions are not what they seem.

Pablo's past ties to a crime syndicate catch up with him; Ken threatens to reveal the truth about Isabelle's finances; Matt agrees to work for Dani as a full-time trainer.

Kris goes to work for a famous horse trainer, but the experience is not all that she'd hoped, and one of the residents of Raintree receives a marriage proposal.

Kris receives a threat and must ask Ken for help, and Matt learns about an insurance scam involving his former clubs.

Kris finds herself riding in a race against Wildfire, Junior puts his club on the line in a bet, and a major accident occurs, for which Kris blames herself.

A few home truths are revealed when Kris, Junior and Matt find themselves trapped together at Davis Farm during a storm, and Ken is arrested for fraud.

Kris tries to secure a place for Wildfire in the illustrious Breeders Invitational race, but Dani tries her hardest to thwart Kris's plans.

Wildfire and Dani's horse are up against each other for a spot in the Breeders Invitational. Meanwhile, Kerry and Gillian's relationship is reignited.

Kris faces a tough career choice which may mean leaving Raintree for good. Meanwhile, it's time for the illustrious Breeders Invitational, and Wildfire is competing.
