The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters

A young boy (Kurt Russell) and his con man father (Dan O'Herlihy) travel west on a wagon train in the 1840s. The series aired for one season on ABC in 1963-64. This new hour-long dramatic series is based on Robert Lewis Taylor's Pulitzer Prize novel. It's about the Kentucky-to-California journey undertaken by Sardíus McPheeters and his 12-year-old son Jaimie during the gold rush days of 1849.
