There is trouble down on the farm when a break in at the Freedom Farms Café sets everyone on edge. Meanwhile, Dan is torn between rushing home to help the family and finishing his coveted internship with Joel Salatin.

Who wouldn't want to be King for a week? Possibly Dan after he is made the head of Freedom Farms for one whole week. Will Dan show his brothers he has what it takes or will he learn that the grass is not always greener on the other side?

Realizing Pete is more valuable closer to home, the partners devise a role-swap sending Dan out to the away markets and keeping Pete near the farm. But Pete may regret his decision to as Lisa decides the market layout is not up to par, leading to some bumped heads and bruised egos.

Freedom Farms and the Pennsylvania contestants of Miss America team up to bring a special event to the King's home market! But will the boys enjoy this event as they're plagued with a series of mishaps with their newly acquired livestock.

Joe, Tim, and Pete hit the golf course to try to entice potential investors, so Lisa takes advantage of the boys' absence by cooking up a great marketing idea. With Bitty's help will she be able to condense her creative cooking into concise recipes, or will her cookbook end up going up in flames?

Joe must admit to his Tim and Pete that he vastly over-estimated his goal for selling CSAs, so when he reveals his idea for another scheme to offset potential losses, will his already maxed-out brothers jump on board? Or will Joe have to devise another way to make it up to his family?

Seeing an opportunity to improve on last year's Freedom Farms calendar, Lisa and Bitty decide THEY should determine how these shoots should be run for maximum customer satisfaction. Will Bitty come through in the clutch? Or will she be too distracted by her own wedding to give Lisa the help she needs?

If there's one thing the boys of Freedom Farms know, besides how to farm, it's how to stay fit. In order to inspire their customers to buy local and eat right, Joe, Lisa, and Bitty will run a month-long fitness competition. Noticing Joe's put on a few pounds himself, can Lisa convince him to join in on the competition to help inspire customers even further?

As farming season draws to a close, Joe's goals of converting their land into an ag-entertainment mecca are out in full force. Rather than waste produce in the fields, Joe asks Tim to host a small group of CSA customers into his fields to really learn where their food comes from. Meanwhile, Joe must convince a reluctant Pete to turn his wood-carving hobby into a community-wide event. Will this end up turning his favorite downtime activity into a stressful nightmare?

Last year's fall festival was a huge success, but this year Joe wants it bigger and better. With no room to spare at the home market, the boys decide to move it to the Lake property. With only a few short weeks until festival season hits hard, Joe, Tim, and Pete must work hard to expand the drive leading to the property, or the thousands of attendees they're expecting might be stuck in the mud.

Tim blends his mining experience with his years of farming knowhow and decides to construct an underground greenhouse that will allow him to farm year round! Meanwhile, Joe asks Lisa to break Freedom Farms' pumpkin pie sales record just in time for the holiday rush. Will she and Dale keep things under control? Or will Joe's dreams be "squashed?"

Dan tries out for a spot on a local radio station. But rather than spinning deep tracks, Dan turns on the charm and speaks the language of love. But will prank calls from his brothers and hard-to-answer questions from lonely listeners make him want turn the ON AIR light off?

With farming season over, Tim will enlist the help of John, Sam, and Paul to build, bury, and stock a fully functional disaster bunker on the farmhouse property. Will the unnecessary expense send Joe on his own warpath? Or will he join his brothers in this eccentric survival plan?

Meanwhile, Sam deals with the aftermath of the harsh winter on his young berry crop. Can Sam impress Tim with his innovation or will Tim rethink his decision to hand over the berry production to his younger brother?

As tensions rise in the farmhouse, Dan considers an even more permanent move off the farm. How will his family react to his decision to move out of the farmhouse and in with his girlfriend Leah? Meanwhile, Lisa gets more than she bargained for while looking for help to bring her gardens back to life.

Joe comes up with a creative way to move their growing stock of meat at markets. But has he bitten off more than he can chew by making such a massive purchase without consulting his partners? As the Kings' crops begin to ripen, Joe needs his younger brothers to come out of the fields to sell all the farm has to offer. With Tim away wheeling and dealing, Joe tries to fill his shoes. And, Bitty convinces her mom that she needs a night out with her boyfriend. Can Lisa let loose long enough to primp for her date night?

How will these farmers react to wearing heavy wool costumes in the middle of summer? And, Lisa ropes Dan in to help her fill her nearly empty nest with a newly acquired flock.

After the recent death of a pregnant pig, Pete decides to set up 24-hour 'pig cams' so he can keep constant watch over his remaining brood. Joe loves the idea so much he sets up even more so he can keep track of all of his employees no matter where he is. But as Joe pays more and more attention to the going's on at each location, how will his family members feel about their big brother playing big brother? Plus, Lisa tries her hand at a cooking video, but when Tim steps in to direct, will she keep her cool while the cameras roll?
