In this episode Dick and Angel give Jonny a crash course in the dos and don'ts of chateau shopping before he and his wife start the search for their own dream place. Jonathan and Michael, who are struggling to turn their magnificent French castle into a money-making venture, explore some of their chateau's caves in the hope of finding a buried fortune. And Phil and Angelina struggle to pitch their chateau as the perfect place for a 50th wedding anniversary party when they can't see eye to eye themselves.

But they face problem after problem after problem... Desperate to increase income at his chateau, Michael invites Angel to help out with an experiment to do afternoon tea for the locals. As Jonathan and Michael prepare their chateau for the big wedding, they have a sewage problem that threatens to take the whole first floor out of action; with 40 guests due, the timing couldn't be worse. Mandy and Steve continue to have pool problems, and, with the first guests of the season about to arrive, they also have to contend with a collapsed wall. It's decision time for Philip and Angelina: can they find their own chateau to buy? Or is it time to return to Britain? And Dick and Angel go hunting in their own chateau's attic for goodies and treasures left over by the previous owners - and are amazed by what they discover.

The young couple are struggling to juggle their new baby with converting an attic into a bed and breakfast suite to generate much-needed extra cash. And in their chateau near Limoges, chef Colette and front-of-house husband Paul try to launch an ambitious new menu to bring in more customers and revenue.

In this episode, Dick and Donna's search for the armour in the lake continues - they bring in a digger? But will it deliver what they're looking for? Tim and Krys, with the help of Tim's brother Ben, continue to struggle getting the attic converted in time for the first guests of the season. And Dick and his mother-in-law Jenny struggle with preparing and freezing 500lbs of pork, before attempting to turn the final 4lbs into salamis. How will they do?

Dick's at home building a compost toilet for guests to use at outside weddings. Also in the Pays de la Loire, twenty-something couple Billy and Gwendoline want to open their chateau as a wedding location, but it's not going to plan as the chimney appears to have caught fire. Near Dijon, Clive and Tanith run an upmarket chateau hotel but need to win over the locals, so they put on an open day. And sisters Tanya and Marian prepare to visit their chateau in the Loire Valley. They need to get it ready for the first guests of the summer in less than a week's time but are faced with everything from dead flies to leaking swimming pools.

Billy, Gwendoline and Michael locate their heating problem but it means Billy faces the tricky task of repointing the chimney 20 metres up - despite being scared of heights. Clive and Tanith get their hands dirty trying to work out what's stopped the fountain working in their pond at their hotel and Michelin-starred restaurant. And the clock's ticking for sisters Marian and Tanya as they try to sort out a winter's worth of problems.

Billy, Gwendoline and Michael finally hope to move into their chateau so they can host a hen party. But the kitchen's unfinished and Michael goes missing. Clive and Tanith play Cupid; will all go to plan? In the Loire Valley, Paul and Karen rent out their chateau as a holiday gite. To attract more guests, they plan to create an office in an old water tower - if Paul can shift the old water tank... And Dick and Angel try to keep costs down when shopping for baths.

Billy and Gwendoline have their hands full: they rope in Dick to help them put up a chandelier then have to track down some wild boars that are causing chaos in and around the chateau. Clive and Tanith attempt to make a fully self-sufficient dish for their hotel's restaurant then test it out. And at Paul and Karen's chateau, Paul continues the task of converting their water tower into an office, no mean feat in 33 degree heat.

At Billy and Gwendoline's chateau, Billy and his dad attempt to level a patio so it passes health and safety regulations; easier said than done in an 18th century building. As Paul and Karen struggle to get the office conversion finished in time, a huge damaged pine tree needs to be cut down. And while Clive's dad Martin attempts to fix a wall surrounding the lake, Clive investigates a huge, creepy nest in the roof of the orangery, the building he hopes one day will be a house for his dad.

In the Picardy region, Tim and Margreeth, who run their chateau as a B&B, plan to sell 'gite timeshares' and build an upmarket caravan park to grow the business. But first Tim needs to evict a swarm of bees. Near Calais, Nicole and Stephan need income to turn their chateau into a B&B, so they're converting their hall into a tearoom. Alison and Paul have spent nine years renovating their ancient chateau. To give up their professional day jobs, they must increase bookings - so they're creating a 'wedding terrace' around the pool, with an outside kitchen. But there's a leak in the pool and Paul gets distracted by an old motorcycle.

Nicole visits Angel to ask her about some wallpaper she found in her chateau. They talk business, and Angel gives Nicole a surprising tip. Tim and Margreeth prepare for Easter when their chateau will host 30 guests, but there are problems in the kitchen. Paul and Alison prepare a party to launch their new wedding terrace - but will the weather wash it out?

Tim and Margreeth concentrate on renovating the only caravan in their new park and the fire pit that will be its centrepiece. Nicole and Stephan make a drastic decision, and prepare for a party to celebrate the renovation of the main hall. Paul and Alison continue their search for the secret tunnel in their oubliette, and make the final preparations for a wedding, but bad weather throws both tasks into disarray. Stephanie runs music events at her chateau in central France but needs to increase revenue. She's come up with a plan to host singles parties, so she has a trial run with friends and family.

Tim and Margreeth visit Dick and Angel who come up with some radical suggestions to change their business plans. Stephanie hopes to prepare for her first singles weekend by planting a romantic rose garden - if she can work the digger. Near the Pyrenees, Sophie and James need to raise funds for their ancient chateau fast, so decide to put on a day of historic talks, dinner and a tour. But will anyone turn up? And Dick and Angel struggle to rescue the children's trampoline that's been blown into their moat.

Tim and Margreeth start to research their new business idea, but can they find the suppliers to help them? Stephanie's big event - singles night - arrives. Will it all go to plan, and more importantly, will there be romance in the air? And Sophie and James put on a walking tour near their chateau, but with ominous rain clouds gathering, will it go ahead? And if not, how will they fund the urgent repairs for their roof?

We meet outdoor enthusiasts Steve and Angela, who refurbish the master bedroom of a 20-roomed chateau on the bank of the River Lot. Belinda travels to Dick and Angel's chateau so that Angel can teach her the art of decoupage on a classic 1950s family dressing table. It's changeover day at Krys and Tim's chateau, as they sweat it out in 42-degree heat to get their 20-roomed chateau ready for their next booking. Wannabe chateau owners Elaine and David visit a 19th-century chateau with 18 rooms and two gites in Normandy. But have any of the chateaux over the last few days tempted them enough to put in an offer? Angela and Steve race against time to finish the honeymoon master bedroom before guests arrive.

Dick and Angel invite Tim and Krys over to their place. Dick shows Tim how to put on a gourmet weekend, and Angel has a heart-to-heart chat about chateau-living with Krys. For Belinda and Lee, it's arrival day for their first paying guests. Lee wrestles with a curtain in the shower room and Belinda does the final clearing out to make the place ready. To kick-start their new money-making idea, Angela and Steve invite eight friends over to test run their tandem holiday business.

Edward and Anna expect 185 guests in their fairy-tale chateau, but things don't go to plan when the surrounding roads get closed for the weekend. Returner, DIY enthusiast Fiona continues to single-handedly restore her magnificent 12th century French castle into a high-end B&B but may have met her match when she's faced with stripping 1970s carpet off the entire first floor.

The pressure is on for Dick and Angel as they host a very special wedding for close friends. Motorcycle mad Essex couple Martin and Kim start their search to buy the perfect chateau but can't see eye to eye. Cash-strapped Tim and Rebecca call in their mates to help with restoration work. Fiona puts her B&B plans on hold as she faces a race against time to prepare for her first wedding. With the reception set to be outside she needs to fix 40 windows on the aging chateau façade.

Tim and Rebecca battle to get their chateau looking tip top for a tour operator who may potentially want to put it on his books for visitors to the nearby Le Mans Motor track. Motorcycle loving couple Martin and Kim continue their rollercoaster search for a dream chateau. The clock is ticking for Fiona as she has 24 hours to prepare for her first-ever wedding. The chateau exterior may be completed but now she must ensure the 12-acre grounds are picture perfect for the big day. Karen, Paul and their two children need to make their chateau attractive to guests. Their latest plan is to restore a disused hen house, but tensions rise when Paul doesn't meet Karen's standards.

Tim and Rebecca receive a booking and prepare for the imminent arrival of their first paying guests. The test has arrived to see if they're up for the B&B life. Martin and Kim take their chateau search up a gear and view the last property on their list. Will this be the place that seals the deal? Paul and Karen embark on creating a cinema room in their barn, but bad luck strikes as the building looks set to collapse, and their hopes of breaking even start to crumble. But Angel helps cushion the blow by upholstering a family heirloom.

Anna and Edward host another big wedding, but Edward's out of action. With the food delayed and the weather threatening to take a turn for the worse, hopefully Anna can pull it off without a hitch. Dick visits Tim and Rebecca as they run into structural problems on their second B&B guest suite. With only one guest room up and running, they're in a race against time to double their income by the end of the summer season. Paul tackles a leaking outbuilding to finish the cinema room, while Karen does all she can to bag their first wedding booking.

Dick and Angel Strawbridge return to help more British people making French castles their home or running businesses from them. Clive and Karen and their two children are preparing for the wedding season at their chateau in the Dordogne Valley, mucking in together to renovate the pool house.

New owners Anna and Philipp slowly discover they may have taken on more than they bargained for, while Johnny and Ashley aim to make it the year their chateau starts making money.

The language barrier almost gets Johnny and Ashley into trouble as they go shopping for antiques. In Normandy, new owners Anna and Philipp see if their ancient well can be of use.

Mark, Becky and grandpa George see if they can utilise a newly discovered well with the hope of it supplying water to a future gîte. In the Pays de la Loire, it's a family affair for the Strawbridge family as Dorothy enlists papa Steve to help with a flatpack mission for the new pantry.

Edward sets out to rebuild the pool house - closely supervised by Anna. Debbie and Nigel move into cellar while they turn their bedroom into the new family suite.

Anna and Edward's invite Bordeaux's wine community to the launch of their caves project. Metal-detecting enthusiast Lee goes on the hunt for artefacts at Château Mareuil.

Kent couple Lydia and Gary embark on the adventure of a lifetime trying to find a chateau that could also be run as a donkey sanctuary. Ben and Billie start a complicated project creating a new honeymoon suite complete with a luxury bathroom. However, coping with the wonky walls soon gives Ben a headache.

Ben and Billie have a tricky task on their hands as they push to install the jacuzzi bath in the honeymoon suite's bathroom. Ben and Vanessa breath new life into their very own ballroom with gold leaf and a hand-painted ceiling fresco, complete with paintings of their children. Meanwhile, at Chateau La Perriere, Karen has lots to learn as she takes over the reins from the caretakers.

New chateau owners Helen and Matt create a homage to Napoleon and a mural based on Caravaggio's painting of Cupid. Tim and Rebecca finish the first floor of their gîte renovation.

It's a big day at Chateau la Briance, as Helen and Matt get ready to finally open their chateau to guests on Valentine's Day. After weeks of hard work, Donna and Paul have to be creative with their cornicing as they finally complete their guest salon.

Anna and Philipp discover some unwanted wildlife in their chimney and finally move into the renovated top floor apartment of the chateau. Donna and Paul start work on their Victoria Suite and its lush en-suite bathroom. However, Paul's not so sure about the decor.

Tim and Rebecca are coming to the end of their two-year gîte project, while Tim and Krys press on with their formal garden and tennis court restoration.

Tim and Krys must complete their formal garden at Domaine de la Barde in time for a party, and tensions are high when they try to install the grand central fountain.

In Northern France, Tim and Margreeth decide to create a well-being and mindfulness experience in their vast woodland, starting with a sensory `barefoot path". The job turns out to be less than zen. Matt and Helen take on the restoration of a horse-drawn carriage and Helen faces the challenge of upholstery. At Château de la Fare, Janet is back from the UK and keen to help Philip finish their third guest suite. However, something as simple as the paint colour causes concern. Narrated by Adjoa Andoh.

At Château des Lys, Tim and Margreeth continue with their woodland mindfulness project as they plan to add a yoga area under an ancient linden tree. However, rain threatens Tim's grand plan to build a log sweat lodge. In the Dordogne region of France, Abbie, Clive and Karen juggle DIY and the raspberry harvest to get ready for wedding season. In Picardie in northern France, Ithaca and Alex start to prepare for their annual fundraising brocante and flower fair. However, despite meticulous planning, the rain threatens boggy ground and a total washout. Tim and Margeeth try to turn an old stable into a cheese and wine-tasting venue and must learn some new skills along the way. New owners Alison and Zion make a start on repairs to their long-abandoned 19th-century château, but even with an 18-metre cherry picker, some jobs prove too tricky. Narrated by Adjoa Andoh.

At ChâteauLagorce, Edward rebuilds some rotten shutters that feature prominently in wedding photographs. May and Guy lock horns over the future of their now rotten chicken coop.

Becky and Mark begin another guest room in preparation for their family visit, but face issues with a cracked wall. Edward creates a private terrace as a surprise for Anna.

At Chateaude Rosieres, Amy and Marc learn new skills to make their own wine. Edward plans to build a hi-tech chicken coop only for his feathered friends to give him the runaround.

Amy and Marc receive an award for their renovations and host a picnic in their garden for 60 of the organisation's members. However, the garden is criss-crossed by open trenches for all their ongoing plumbing and electrical work. Becky and Mark are under pressure to complete their final guest room, but they still find time to introduce their daughters to two new kittens. In north-west France, Philip and Angelina are flat-out preparing for the event season. The moat must be navigated to smarten up the château'senormous shutters and Angelina makes over a kilometre of bunting. Narrated by Adjoa Andoh.

Amy and Marc have a mountain to climb in the garden ahead of the picnic and also need to make their dining room into a showpiece for the event. When the bridge connecting them to the mainland starts to crumble, Philip and Angelina are forced to take action. Erin also has a creative art project to enhance their Yellow Salon for an anniversary dinner party. In Cognac Country, Sarah and George take on the challenge to makeover an entire estate cottage on a tiny budget, wanting to create a family bolthole for the busy wedding season.

Storms and bad weather have spelt disaster for Erin and JB, as part of the original mediaeval foundations of their island have collapsed into the moat. Trying to fix it all themselves, JB's engineering skills are put to the test when they try to raise the heavy stones. Stephanie's tartan apartment project for Gerry continues as she rolls up her sleeves to sand blast the hayloft beams. Sarah and George agree to host the local town fete, but with a septic tank being installed just days before the event the grounds are far from picture perfect.

At Chateau de la Fare, Janet and Philip decide to overhaul their entrance gates in favour of something grander.

A power failure threatens preparations for Zion's 60th birthday party at Château de la Boutinière. Ben and Billie have bathroom trouble in their Loire Valley holiday accommodation.

Billie focuses on a furniture renovation, while Ben wallpapers for the first time. Julia converts her former artist's studio into living accommodation at her woodland chateau.

In the Dordogne region, Abbie, Clive, Karen and Ross undertake a complicated project, by converting a car park into a new terrace and dining area. Elsewhere, in the Loire Valley, Ben and Billie continue their renovation of two holiday apartments and while Billie upcycles more furniture, Ben uses his specialist knowledge of creating music studios to construct a soundproof connecting door.

At Château du Doux in the Dordogne region, bad weather threatens to derail Abbie, Clive and Karen's first wedding of the year. Elsewhere, in the Loire Valley, Ben and Billie near the end of the renovation of their two guest apartments. Ben has his work cut out to put up a chandelier with no lighting fixture, while Billie attempts to paint new life into old furniture.

Phillip gets creative upcycling 1950s style furniture, while at Château de la Fare, Janet and Phillip put all their energy into finishing their large Empire Suite.

Christina and Sassan finally get the keys to Chateau de Lasalle - only to find a toilet in a rather strange place. Tim struggles to move a 100-year-old olive tree.

Alison and Zion bicker while dismantling and rebuilding an old polytunnel, while Tim and Sasha create a luxurious bridal suite by connecting two rooms via a built-in wardrobe.

In the Limousin region of France, Debbie and Nigel start to create a massive gravel garden but Nigel is concerned about the spiralling costs of Debbie's planting scheme.

At Château de Lalande, Stephanie and Gerry go all out in the final stages of the Marquis Salon restoration. Near Bordeaux, Anna and Edward restore their wedding catering kitchen.

At Châteaude Montvason, Emma and Paul uncover layers of Second World War history as they take on a very particular type of restoration, but they disagree about imperfect plastering.

Jayne and Steve are pulled from pillar to post as they host a residential landscape painting course, while Emma goes all out to faithfully restore the wartime décor in Normandy.

Trish calls on the help of her friends as she tries to bring light into the interior of her dark mediaeval property. For Bart and Sarah, it is decision time as they visit a château.

At Châteaude Gere near the border with Spain, Trish tries to combat invading sheep by building a fence, but is more than happy to take a delivery of their fertilising manure for her no-dig garden. Near Cognac, at Châteaude Brives, wedding season has begun for Sarah and George. While Sarah shows off her new floristry skills George has the important role of MC.

At ChâteauMas du Pradie, after three years of hard work Julia is on tenterhooks hosting her first ever wedding, but the unseasonal hot weather adds high pressure to her workload. At ChâteauDe Gere, Trish races to complete a back-breaking patio project in a bid to host a campfire party where she introduces a culinary American delicacy to her French neighbours.

At Château Lagorce, Edward must learn to roof tile for a poolside project. Ben and Vanessa start transforming an old laundry into a cinema and games room.

Lee installs beams for the upper floor in the new two-bed gîte at Château Mareuil, while Ben and Vanessa rush to finish their new gin bar, housed in an old garage.

Matt and Helen brace themselves to host their first wedding at Château la Briance. Tensions rise for Belinda and Lee as they try to install the kitchen in the two-bed gîte.

Down at Château de Seguenville, Becky and Mark embark on their own huge gîte project. The floor has to be dug out, but the digger can't even fit through the entrance. In the Loire Valley, Guy struggles to build a flatpack spiral staircase, while May spots some safety issues that have to be addressed before her yoga retreat can commence.

In the Dordogne, Nick gets demolition-happy in a bid to finish opening up the entrance hall of their derelict château, but Nicole is worried he'll come down with the ceiling. It's a big day for Becky and Mark as the new floor in the gîte is laid. Mark has to manage thousands of gallons of fast-flowing concrete. Wendy has grand plans to build an elegant wedding garden for couples to wed in, but Marcus has to figure out the measurements of the second-hand pergola she's bought, which has lain in rusty pieces for the last three years.

In the Languedoc region, at Château du Puits es Pratx, Tim tries to make a complicated bamboo water feature for the garden, but Sasha struggles to see his artistic vision.

Sasha gets creative making an elaborate bridal pathway at Château du Puits es Pratx, but Tim cannot resist playing a practical joke on her. Things get emotional for Christina as she and Sassan make progress on their pool and terrace projects at Chateau de Lassalle.

Tim and Sasha battle soaring temperatures to host a wedding, but getting things ready and keeping them looking their best is a huge challenge. Alison and Zion hit a few obstacles in their plan to renovate an outbuilding into their first holiday gite.

At Château de la Fare, Janet and Philip start their biggest challenge yet - the creation of their largest guest suite, part of which will be in the medieval tower Over at Château de la Boutinière, Alison and Zion press to complete their first ever gite, and with a booking on the cards, the pressure is on to get it done in time.

At Château Larribau, Paul and Julia enjoy their first week as chateau owners, and are keen to make the huge house feel like a home by renovating one room as a bolthole.
