14-year-old Thomas has just moved to Amager with his mother. Thomas draws a lot, it's almost an escape for him. In his new class, he meets Mads and Emma meet. Mads thinks Thomas' drawings are cool, but Emma is more interested in Thomas.

Thomas visits Emma to draw with her, but she has lied to him: she does not draw at all. Upon leaving Thomas meets Emmas big brother Mikkel, and he's fascinated by him. Rumours starts spreading about Thomas and Emma.
