Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have nots in a world in which there's almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, a peaceful denizen from a cozy fallout shelter is forced to return to the surface and is shocked to discover the wasteland waiting for her.

Tbh, I read Metro 2033, It was like coloring book for the brain, plain, linear and stupid.
But this story is way more multifaceted. That's not a difference of degree, that's a difference of kind.
So to sum up Metro games based on a stupid book. And this is a great show based on iconic game.
What a season ending!! loved how all the threads converged and revealed that which I won't spoil. It moves the world/lore of Fallout forward and expands it immensely. This is a great reason to have a tv show in the first place, to use the medium in a meaningful way, not just fan service (which we got, thank you very much).
That final shot.... wow, it's going to be a fun 2nd season, can't wait!
