However, Gordon Ormsby, the strict head of the Department of Children's Services, learns about the Jerricos' situation and assigns a new social worker, Alana Michaels, to look into the case and, if necessary, arrange for foster care. To resist the authorities, Josh adopts the persona of "Aunt Jelcinda."
