Between the Covers - Episode Guide

Sara Cox hosts the irreverent, entertaining, mischievous show where books spark the banter.

This week, Sara is joined by comedians Phil Wang, Sara Pascoe, Tom Allen and singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor. They all share their favourite books and reveal the books that make them laugh and the fictional characters they would like to meet.

And they discuss this week's book group pick, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and Sara Pascoe's latest book, Sex, Power, Money.

This week, Sara Cox is joined by comedians Lolly Adefope and Ellie Taylor, rockstar Ricky Wilson and presenter and author Richard Osman. They share their favourite books, revealing the books that make them cry and the fictional characters they most relate to. They discuss this week's book group picks - Love After Love by Ingrid Persaud and Richard Osman's debut novel, The Thursday Murder Club.

They share their favourite books and reveal the books they pretend to have read but haven't and the book they would give someone on a first date. And they discuss this week's book group pick, The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton and Graham Norton's latest novel, Home Stretch.

Sara Cox is back for the fourth series of BBC Two's Between the Covers, the entertainment show which celebrates the joy of books and reading.

In the first episode of the series, Sara is joined by author and host of Pointless, Richard Osman; comedian and Guilty Feminist Deborah Frances-White; actor David Morrissey; and DJ and presenter, Vick Hope.
