Øystein Bache and Rune Gokstad have been on a trip, and this time they are driving across India in an autorickshaw. Bad roads and an alien driving culture are just two of the challenges they face at the start of the trip.

Rune gets his first byline and Øystein remembers his military service in the north. Rally Nordkapp is going the same way, but there is a long way between the charging stations on the E69.

In a converted van, Øystein and Rune plan to drive from Portugal to the Russian-North Korean border. So the question is whether they will make it that far...

In Switzerland, Øystein tries to make up for Rune's dentist by playing the accordion. And just over the border to Liechtenstein, they meet Ukrainians on the run.

Øystein tries to fulfill a youthful dream when he arrives in the Salzkammergut in Austria. And on their way north, they really get lost in Slovakia.

A toy museum, a salt mine and brakes that shake more than ever are just some of what meets the boys when they cross the border into Poland.

Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia offer a KGB museum, a summer castle, Norwegian soldiers and a city inhabited by rabbits, as the journey draws to a close.
