As the roommates open up, surprising secrets emerge and discussions about the past reveal old wounds.  And revisiting a heated conversation from 29 years ago puts the entire loft on edge.

A charged conversation about racism sends shockwaves through the loft, and Eric opens up about traumatic events from his past.

While adjusting to an unexpected new reality in the loft, the roommates rally around Norman as details of a personal crisis are revealed.

Norman reveals the highs and lows of being one of the first openly gay people on television. As talk of Becky's possible return fills the loft, Julie finds herself playing the role of mediator, and the roommates attempt to find closure.

Kevin lays it all on the line. The roommates learn the answers to some long-held questions when a pair of surprise guests come to the door. And as they prepare to leave the loft for the second time, the original seven strangers reflect on their past.

The roommates continue discussing the events that led to David's removal from the house. Never-before-seen footage from 1993 leads the roommates to view David in a different light. Tami feels betrayed after she makes an emotional confession that goes unnoticed by the roommates.

After Jon tries to shut down a discussion about his love life, Tami confronts her roommates about their unwillingness to have honest conversations. A fun night out leads to unpredictable behavior from David. And Beth S is desperate for Tami's approval after learning that she no longer trusts her roommates.

The roommates embark on a luxurious yacht trip. Tami tries to mediate an explosive fight between Beth S. and David. Jon volunteers to officiate a vow renewal between Irene and her husband. Glen reveals a tragic turn in his life.

The roommates revisit Tami's decision to have an abortion in 1993 and reveal some personal experiences of their own. On a spiritual trip to Joshua Tree, Real World New York's Eric Nies helps Glen seek closure over the death of his ex-girlfriend. 

Hoping to revive his country music career, Jon plans a comeback concert. A friendly game amongst roommates becomes a heated discussion about race relations in America. David sets the record straight about a harmful allegation he made in 1993.

Tami confronts David over his lack of support during the roommates' race conversation, leading to an explosive fight. Tami's husband arrives at the house to confront David. An imminent visit from her transgender son leads Beth A to revisit her journey as one of TV's first openly LGBTQ+ cast members.

After a day of arguing and a close encounter with Tami's husband, David makes a big decision concerning his presence in the house. Beth A has an emotional reunion with her transgender son. As their time together comes to an end, the roommates reflect on their emotional journey and mark the end of their homecoming.

The roommates from The Real World New Orleans are moving back in and reuniting for the first time in 22 years. Decades long feuds quickly resurface.

Danny opens up about living in the spotlight, post-Real World. Julie's attempts to get back in the roommates' good graces are derailed by a wild night out.

Julie's erratic behavior rubs her roommates the wrong way, leading to a confrontation with Tokyo. Danny and ex-boyfriend Paul meet for the first time since their breakup.

The roommates continue to try to make Julie understand why her complaints about Tokyo's actions towards her after a wild night out were harmful. And a surprise visit brings some fun to a tense household.

Jamie and Julie have rekindled their old friendship, but a shocking revelation about their past sexual history leaves the roommates wondering whether they might be more than friends. After Danny calls Matt out for some homophobic comments from 2000, Matt starts to fear his presence in the house is at odds with his religious faith.

While Matt continues to wonder if his presence in the house is at odds with his religious faith, Julie drops a bombshell about her own religious beliefs. A visit from Julie's husband ends in chaos after he questions the nature of Julie's relationship with Jamie. Danny and Matt hash out their differences. Kelley feels out of place in the house.

As the roommates' time in New Orleans comes to an end, they reflect on how they've all changed since 2000 and leave their mark on the city one last time. With the help of Melissa's old friend Lionel, the roommates memorialize their experience with a mural painting. Melissa and Julie think that Tokyo is closing himself off again and try to get him to open up more.
