Darien Fawkes is a thief and conman with a scientist brother, Kevin. Kevin develops a gland that allows the implantee to excrete "Quicksilver" and turn invisible. Unfortunately, the gland has the side effect of rendering the implantee berserk if a counteragent isn't occasionally injected. Darien agrees to the operation to avoid a jail sentence. Terrorists kill Kevin, leaving Darien with the gland stuck in his head. A mysterious "Agency" was behind Kevin's research, and offer Darien a deal: work for them in return for injections of the Counteragent. Using his powers of invisibility, Darien takes on spies and other criminals for the government.

I loved this show & was sad & angry when it was cancelled. But what makes me even more mad is that they released season 1 on DVD but not season 2. I have been holding on to season 1 for years waiting for 2 so I could watch the entire series. But obviously they will never release it. Which means I can only watch the 1st 1/2 of the show since I can't find the 2nd 1/2 any where. Grr. So annoying. Not only did they cancel a great show but now we can't even see all of it. I wish they would PLEASE release season 2 already. :(
This episode's storyline was voted on by fans. Much like a Choose Your Own Adventure book, the previous episode ended with a cliffhanger that fans chose the outcome. Ultimately, both choices eventually ended with the same conclusion. One version aired on Sci-Fi Channel, while the other aired during the concurrent syndication run.
