Grandad - Episode Guide

Charlie Quick, known as 'Grandad', is the caretaker of the Parkview Rehearsal Hall. During the rehearsal of a television show he decides to help young Brian Plumber with his dancing career. The help gets out of hand and causes chaos!

Grandad's cooking causes worse than indigestion - it's capable of wiping out Mr Digby Rigby's entire cast! The only solution is a food dispenser in the Rehearsal Hall, so Grandad determines to get one.

Grandad's umbrella becomes the target of two notorious thieves. It contains a necklace worth £10,000.

Grandad can't stand two people in this world and Amelia Wilcox , the famous actress, is both 01 them! When she comes to the Parkview Rehearsal Hall, Digby Rigby tells Grandad to behave himself - or else!

Grandad is told to retire as caretaker of the Rehearsal Hall because of his age. To prove he's still as fit as a fiddle, he embarks on a course of physical exercises -but then he has to resort to other measures.

Grandad can't sleep, so he tries hypnotism, but then he can't stay awake! He keeps dropping off ...

Grandad's extravagance gets him into trouble -and so does his collection of performing fleas! But the biggest trouble of all is the arrival of a caretaker to take care of the caretaker!

Mr Watkins is on the point of confiscating Grandad's Social Club Party Fund when he discovers that Amelia Wilcox , the famous actress whom he worships, is rehearsing in the hall. He persuades Grandad to arrange a date and this leads to robbery, explosions, hysteria - and a knees-up!

Grandad is to judge the local beauty contest, but if Mr Watkins' niece doesn't win he's liable to stop Grandad's pay rise; if Dave Corby's girlfriend doesn't win he's liable to stop his breathing; and if Mrs Brady's grand-daughter doesn't win she's going to accuse Grandad publicly of fiddling the results!

Grandad plans a secret surprise for Mr Watkins. But Mr Watkins is suspicious of the secret and stunned by the surprise!

Grandad steps on the Great Marvello's toes, and then into his shoes for a conjuring act, but it's more madness than magic!

Grandad and Bert win a trip to the seaside but they don't expect sharks, smugglers, mistaken identity and prison!

Grandad and Mr Watkins are rivals for the star part in Mrs Tomkins ' musical extravaganza - which turns out to be a fiasco when things go with a bang!
