White Lies - Episode Guide

Hyung Woo, the disabled 28 year-old son of a huge luxury department store owner, is discharged from the hospital. This is upsetting to Hyung Woo because he has fallen in love with his nurse. His rich and powerful mother then decides to bring Nurse Seo into the family, preferably by marrying the nurse to her son.

Chairwoman and owner of Dream In, Mrs. Shin, sets a plan in place to make her disabled son happy by hiring the father of the girl her son loves, as the new head of security. Seo Young finds out who Mrs. Shin really is and that she wants Seo to marry her son, Jung Woo.

Seo tells Chairwoman Shin that she will not marry her disabled son, Hyung Woo, who later runs away from home and is almost hit by a car. Meanwhile, Seo is still holding a torch for her lost love, Jung Woo, who shows up unexpectedly. Finally, Jung Woo's mother plots against her sister, the wealthy Chairwoman Shin.

Seo Eun Young tells Jung Woo what happened after he mysteriously walked out on her five years ago. His mother, meanwhile, refuses to stay out of the Dream In luxury department store, and her love of couture clothes and furs becomes apparent. Finally, Seo tells Jung Woo the tragic story of their unborn child's death.

Seo Eun Young finds herself still in love with Jung Woo, but he keeps his new marriage a secret from her. Later, Chairwoman Shin makes a bigger attempt to win over Seo's family so that Seo will marry her disabled son, Hyung Woo. Sadly, Jung Woo begins lying to his wife, Na-Kyeong, about his actions.

Mrs. Shin hatches a new plan to force Seo's family to do her bidding, which involves Jung Woo setting up Seo Ho-gu for failure. Additionally, Seo's mother and father continue their argument over whether Seo should marry Hyung Woo just because his mother is rich. Seo Ho-gu finds it hard to find a new job.

Seo visits Hyung Woo, while Mrs. Shin has a private meeting with Na-Kyeong about her father, the owner of a construction company. Nurse Seo continues to let her hopes and expectations run too high, too soon. Jung Woo has mixed emotions about his wife and his old girlfriend, Seo, and then goes on an alcohol binge.

Na-Kyeong, Seo, Hyung Woo and Mrs. Shin's greedy sister have lunch together at Mrs. Shin's home, and it ends with an abrupt disclosure. Meanwhile, Seo Ho-gu -- Seo's father, falls into Chairwoman Shin's trap. Not surprisingly, Jung Woo finds himself in love with two women, and, finally, Seo tries to say goodbye to Hyung Woo.

Seo Heo-gu borrows money from everyone and puts his house in jeopardy to secure enough money to buy a restaurant. Meanwhile, just outside of Seoul, Jung Woo buys a home for Seo, hoping to keep her and his wife apart. At the same time, Chairwoman Shin is up to no good as usual.

Realizing his love for Seo, Jung Woo tells her the truth -- that he is married to someone else. Seo is devastated and leaves him, only to get home and find her father has suffered a heart attack. The family finds out that the father was scammed out of everything.

Seo's father needs surgery and Seo tries to raise the money. Finally, Seo turns to Chairwoman Shin and offers to marry Hyung Woo, which sends Seo's mother into a raging fit. Meanwhile, a business deal with the Dodo Corporation collapses. Jung Woo thinks of himself as a failure in both business and love.

Chairwoman Shin's daughter, Kang shin Woo, arrives home unexpectedly after being away for 3 years at college. Everyone, it seems, thinks that Seo is a gold-digger, but, surprisingly, Seo finds a friend in Na-Kyeong, the wife of Seo's cheating ex-boyfriend. Mrs. Shin seems to like and trust Seo and calls her a daughter.

The Chairwoman confronts Jeong Woo concerning a business deal. Plans are underway for Eun Young and Hyeong Woo's engagement party but a surprise appearance by Jeong Woo brings back memories of the past.

Eun Young runs away from the engagement party after discovering the identity of Hyeong Woo's brother. Hyeong Woo is taken ill and Eun Young must return to provide care for him.

Jeong Woo goes to his mother with the goal of borrowing money but she is reluctant. Na Kyeong questions Jeong Woo about his trip to the jewelry store as well as his actions afterwards.

The chairwoman talks with Jeong Woo about the upcoming marriage of his brother Hyeong Woo. Jeong Woo confesses to Na Kyeong that he had an affair but assures her that it is over now.

Jeong Woo visits Eun Young's father in the hospital and tells him about the upcoming marriage. Eun Young goes to dinner with Jeong Woo and his wife but their time together is awkward.

An argument over Eun Young marrying for money leads to upset between family members. The bride is kidnapped on her wedding day by an old love who seeks to stop the event

The newlyweds are forced to call off their honeymoon and go home due to a brother's boycott. Min Je comes to the bar then meets up with an intoxicated Na Kyeong.

Jeong Woo visits the Chairwoman and attempts to apologize for missing the wedding but this meeting does not go as easily as planned. With her father now at home. Eun Young takes Hyeong Woo to see him.

Jeong Woo tries to repair his marriage by telling Na Kyeong what he will do to make it better. The Chairwoman comes to the store after the president is put on probation.

At a dinner, Eun Young begins to tell her story involving a past love and how he asked her to be his mistress. Mr.Song requests that Jeong Woo not contact him again.

A spy in Jeong Woo's office continues to gather information about him and his activities. Stockholders are thinking of replacing the president because of improper methods used to run the company.

Hyeong Woo puts a clip in Eun Young's hair but she leaves the store without paying for it. Employees see Hyeong Woo for the first time and are surprised at his condition.

Eun Young's father offers to payback the Chairwoman for everything he owes and will sign a contract to prove his sincerity. A former employee writes about Dream In and posts it online for everyone to read.

Hyeong Woo's mother tells Eun Young that she will no longer listen to her when the subject is Hyeong Woo. The headmistress is looking for information into Bi An's family as well as his past life.

The family thinks Hyeong Woo's mother is upset with them but she insists that a breakfast meeting is the real reason for her absence. Eun Young's parents discuss their past and how life has turned out for them.

Chairwoman Shin interferes in Seo and Hyung Woo's marriage. Meanwhile, Jung Woo, who is still the President of Dream In, is involved in shady dealings. Bi An comes to live with Eun Young's family but her mother lies about his previous whereabouts. Jeong Woo remembers his moments with Eun Young and the feelings he had at that time.

Na Kyeong sees Jeong Woo and Eun Young fighting but she leaves before they catch him. Shin Woo admits she set up Eun Young by telling her to take Hyeong Woo to the department store.

Chairwoman Shin meets with Eun Young to make up for past wrongs and hopes this gesture will bring the family together. Jeong Woo confronts Eun Young about her marriage when she returns.

While listening to Jeong Woo's mother cry, Eun Young becomes upset and thinks about Bi An. Information concerning an affair involving Manager Han surfaces but Jeong Woo seeks to use it later.

Bo Young makes her husband leave the apartment but he tries to stay. Hyeong Woo grows more jealous of Bi An as they spend the day together with Eun Young.

The Chairwoman questions Jeong Woo's gift certificate plan but allows him to proceed in hopes he will fail. Bi An goes back to Eun Young's parents after his trip out with Hyeong Woo and Eun Young.

Hyeong Woo regresses after his trip out with Bi An as he feels he will lose Eun Young. Chairwoman Shin figures out that Bi An is Eun Young's son.

Eun Young's parents offer to leave for Jeju Island if it will make things easier concerning Bi An. Playing a recording while her husband sleeps, Bo Young hopes to make him feel love and want children.

The information on Na Kyeong's first marriage comes to light and Jeong Woo makes accusations to Chairwoman Shin. Jeong Woo requests Na Kyeong leave the apartment and stay with her father.

Na Kyeong's father helps out Jeong Woo by purchasing the high priced gift certificates he wanted to sell. Jeong Woo says he needs time to think before he decides whether or not to divorce.

Bo Young and her husband are told to find another place after her parents move out. Eun Young's family starts to search for Bi An's father so they can adopt him.

Eun Young's mother in law refuses the request when asked permission to adopt Bi An as her and Hyeong Woo's son. Na Kyeong is told not to call or go to Chairwoman Shin's home.

Shin Woo resists a blind date at the department store coffee shop that was planned without her knowledge. Bi An goes to the Chairwoman's home after he visits the hospital.

The Chairwoman moves blankets causing Eun Young to sleep in the same bed as Hyeong Woo. Na Kyeong tries again to use fertility treatments but does not tell Jeong Woo.

Jeong Woo and Eun Young meet because she wants to end all hostilities between them. Jeong Wu questions Eun Young's brother in law about Bi An and his parents.

Chairwoman Shin is concerned that Bi An's influence on Hyeong Woo will only last for a short time. Jeong Woo goes to the hospital and tries learning more information about what is wrong with Bi An.

Jeong Woo talks with a man who offers him clues as to the identity of Bi An and pays him a bribe to keep the information secret. Na Kyeong and Jeong Woo get into a fight about children when he returns.

After driving to the lake, Jeong Woo confronts Eun Young about whether he is the father of Bi An. Jeong Woo's mother feels the adoption is a trick to gain control of Dream In.

Na Yeong encourages her mother in law to visit Chairwoman Shin as a way of healing the problems between them. Jeong Woo sets up a secret meeting with Jeong Gu.

Jeong Gu poses as Mr. Hwang and arranges a meeting to see Bi An the next day. Chairwoman Shin finds out about Jeong Gu's visit to the spa and the trouble he caused.

Seo is shocked when Bi-An's father shows up and wants the little boy back, or more money. Meanwhile, Jung Woo makes another mysterious trip to London. Later, Seo accidentally finds out Jung Woo has betrayed her once again. Additionally, Seo, Hyung and Bi-An continue to thrive as a family unit, except for the problems others make for them.

Eun Young confronts Jeong Woo about sending the man to take Bi An and she reveals that he is Bi An's father. Jeong Woo as well as Na Kyeong babysit Bi An but problems still exist for Eun Young.

Na Kyeong agrees to help Eun Young keep Bi An. Jeong Woo tries acquiring a passport for Bi An as part of his plan to carry the boy out of the country.

Eun Young leaves Bi An at her parents' apartment after he is accused of stealing a necklace. Hyeong Woo is unable to see Bi An and security guards ensure he stays at the house.

Hyeong Woo's mother recalls memories of the past and how hard she was on him. Na Kyeong feels that having a child will save her marriage to Jeong Woo.

Jeong Woo angrily speaks out against the adoption of Bi An and Hyeong Woo's involvement in the process. Bi An is kidnapped and an unknown man is seen putting the child into a car.

Eun Young asks Jeong Woo to help her find Bi An but she finds out that Jeong Woo took the boy. Eun Young tells her mother-in-law that Jeong Gu brought Bi An back.

Jeong Woo dines with Eun Young's father and tells him that she will be allowed to adopt Bi An. Na Kyeong goes to the jewelry store and inquiries about two necklaces that her husband bought.

Na Kyeong asks her father to ruin Jeong Woo's life after finding a photo that includes Eun Young. Manager Han is put in charge of interviews and Jeong Woo loses his duties.

Na Kyeong learns from her doctor that she is finally pregnant after many attempts at having a child. In the hospital, an injured Mr. Song reveals information about secret files to Jeong Woo.

At a rite for his father, an upset Jeong Woo vows revenge for his family member's death. Na Kyeong confronts Eun Young about the affair she had with Jeong Woo.

A deal is made for Bi An to be added on the family register if Eun Young will continue trying to have a child with Hyeong Woo. Chairwoman Shin receives a mysterious phone call from a man claiming to be Bi An's real father.

Jeong Woo arranges for a man to visit Chairwoman Shin and say he is Bi An's real father. Eun Young's mother and father are fighting more as trouble arises for their marriage.

Chairwoman Shin wants Bi An to live with his father after the boy does several things that upset Hyeong Woo. Na Kyeong asks that Bi An be adopted by Hyeong Woo but she does not know her husband's plans.

Things are not going well for Eun Young's parents but one person seems to be at fault. Jeong Woo pushes Eun Young to admit who the real father of Bi An is but she does not reveal the truth.

Jeong Woo's plan to ruin Eun Young continues as he lies to the Chairwoman in a meeting. The man Jeong Woo hired to carry out his plans goes to see Eun Young and Chairwoman Shin finds him outside the house.

Bi An asks Bo Young's husband to take him to his mother Eun Young. Hyeong Woo gets a new teacher but she immediately starts causing problems for the family.

Across town, Seo's family is busy opening a new restaurant. Additionally, Chairwoman Shin is having surprising flashbacks.

At a meeting with Jeong Woo, Eun Young is told he plans to adopt Bi An. Jeong Woo sends an associate to Japan with the goal of setting up a challenge against the Chairwoman.

Jeong Woo confronts the Chairwoman and reveals that he is Bi An's real father. Eun Young begs her mother-in-law to forgive her when it comes to light that she knew about Jeong Woo's connection to Hyeong Woo before the marriage.

Eun Young's family opens a restaurant with the money her brother-in-law received from Jeong Woo. Shin Woo thinks about what Eun Young did and wants her to leave the house.

Na Kyeong tells Hyeong Woo about the things that Eun Young has done and reveals the identity of Bi An's father. As she is packing to leave, Eun Young tells Shin Woo to get Hyeong Woo the help he needs.

Hyeong Woo blocks out the memories that are causing him pain and this development worries his doctor. At the board meeting, Jeong Woo and Chairwoman Shin talk about why he is there.

Shin Woo is angry with Jeong Woo and tells him that his treatment of Hyeong Woo is wrong. Hyeong Woo is taken to visit an artist that has expressed interest in his work.

Hyeong Woo is not doing well since Eun Young left. Jeong Woo's mother goes to the restaurant and asks for all of the money that they received as a loan.

Eun Young receives a call about Hyeong Woo current condition. Jeong Woo's mother is shocked to hear that Na Kyeong and Jeong Woo have a plan to get revenge.

Brakes mysteriously fail and Eun Young must go to the hospital after a car accident. Problems arise at the company's board meeting and those assembled may face a difficult choice for the future.

Jung Woo is back as a representative and major stockholder for the Dodo Corporation. Elsewhere, everyone misses Bi-An, except Seo and her childhood family since they are caring for him. Seo and Hyung are still getting a divorce. Na-Kyeong stands up to Chairwoman Shin and Na also agrees to raise Bi-An for her husband's sake.

Hyung Woo is so upset that he loses his ability to speak again. As a result, Seo sneaks Bi-An over to visit Hyung, but Chairwoman Shin arrives back home early, only to cause havoc. Seo receives a notice from the court of an upcoming custody battle, and considers going into hiding with her son.

Hyung Woo speaks again, but his mother tries to keep him away from his love -- Seo Eun Young. Later, Bi-An is the center of a custody war, and he wonders who are his real parents. Mrs. Shin talks to Jung Woo and implicates Na-Kyeong's father in the ruin of Jung's father.

Jeong Woo thinks the Chairwoman and Manager Han are in trouble and he waits for them to fail. Eun Young meets with Na Kyeong and urges her to stop the custody battle for Bi An.

Jeong Woo goes home to drink after a confrontation with Eun Young and her mother. Hyeong Woo spends some time away from the house to learn painting techniques from professionals.

Jeong Woo comes to pick up Bi An but the little boy does not want to go with him. Hyeong Woo is upset after seeing Jeong Woo take Bi An away.

Jeong Woo confronts Hyeong Woo after he takes Bi An. Na Kyeong thinks Eun Young is the reason for Bi An's difficult behavior but the true issue deals with abandonment.

Men arrive to take Bi An back at all costs and they attack Hyeong Woo. A lawyer provides information about the legal decisions necessary for Jeong Woo to gain custody of Bi An.

The man who ruined Eun Young's father comes back to meet with Jeong Woo. Chairwoman Shin makes arrangements to get Bi An back while Eun Young stays with an ill Hyeong Woo.

Na Kyeong answers Shin Woo's phone and hears a voice from her past that turns out to be a special friend. Jeong Woo puts a new plan in motion to bring down Chairwoman Shin.

Store owners are upset as Jeong Woo brings up certain items in their contracts that need to change. Eun Young's mother goes to see her Hyeong Woo's mother in hopes of bringing about a solution.

Chairwoman Shin not only meets with upset store owners but also a man that has useful information against Jeong Woo. Hyeong Woo spends time in the park with Bi An.

After an important meeting, Jeong Woo leaves the Chairwoman's office and sees Bi An with Hyeong Woo. Shin Woo find herself falling for an old love of Na Kyeong.

Eun Young comes to live with Hyeong Woo and her mother-in-law but Shin Woo is still against her return. Jeong Woo meets with Chairwoman Shin about the business and she tells him that he is a failure.

Jeong Woo calls Eun Young's father for a meeting and the results are distressing for one of them. Eun Young goes to see Jeong Woo after her father visits the house.

Jeong-Woo uncovers the truth about Na-kyeong's miscarriage. A compromise with Kang-jeyong-woo is narrowly avoided. A tape threatens to be the ruin of one of the characters.

Jung Woo tries to trick Hyung Woo, by showing him up in front of Bi-An. In business, concerning the Dodo Corporation, Chairwoman Shin and Jung Woo try to out smart each other. Seo is still living in Mrs. Shin's home as a therapist for Hyung Woo. Additionally, the battle over custody of Bi-An continues.

Jung Woo's plan to fool Hyung Woo backfires, and later Seo finds out why Hyung Woo has been upset. Additionally, Mrs. Shin admits herself to the hospital, while Seo threatens Jung Woo. Na-Kyeong is shocked when Jung Woo blurts something out that she never expected. Mrs. Shin, meanwhile, makes a new deal with the Dodo Corporation.

The custody battle gets intense as Jung Woo and Na-Kyeong team up to put a master plan in place, in an all-out effort to win Bi-An. However, Seo has been helping Hyung Woo get back on track, which shows when he goes back to art-school and Mr. Yeom enters him in a contest.

Jung Woo tricks Seo into letting Bi-An visit him and then serves her with a restraining order. Meanwhile, Shin Woo is getting closer to Min-je through their shared love of photography. At the restaurant, Na Jin-sun and Bo Young's husband compete to see who is a better cook, by passing certification as a chef, first.

Chairwoman Shin hatches a new plot to ruin her stepson and get Bi-An back to his mother, Seo. At the restaurant, a kitchen race to see who can chop faster takes place, while something from the past between Min-je and Na-Kyeong comes back to haunt her. Later, Shin Woo visits Na-Kyeong to get information.

Mr. Cha almost blows the whistle on Na-Kyeong to her husband, Jung Woo, who has just caught her in a lie. Additionally, the best schemer of all, Chairwoman Shin, sets two new plans in place. Later, Na-Kyeong is shocked to see who the visitor at her home turns out to be -- someone from her past.

Mr. Ahn, Chairwoman Shin's right-hand man, helps Hyung Woo in life-changing ways because he sees how badly Hyung wants to be Bi-An's father. Continuing to torment Seo, Na-Kyeong has ghosts from her closet coming out to worry about, thanks to Mrs. Shin. Hyung Woo tries to become more of a normal adult man.

A neighbor visits Na Kyeong and Jeong Woo after a minor accident in the garage. Eun Young's knowledge of Bi An's existence and Hyeong Woo's medical problems become issues during a custody hearing.

Eun Young's mother wants to see Bi An but the boy is not at the apartment. A new neighbor is actually an important person from Na Kyeong's past.
