Gem Hunters Down Under - Episode Guide

A lack of water sends Max and Glenn out into the wilderness to hunt sapphires. Anthony and Jodie have taken a costly wrong turn underground and the Richardsons' big machines bring on big problems.

Todd and Brianna struggle mixing parenthood and sapphire hunting. Old Timers Ray and Paul might be digging in the wrong spot while Max and Glenn bring in the drillers, but will they strike water?

Rowan drills up a lot more than he bargained for. Anthony and Jodie Mifsud desperately try to join tunnels while Old Timers Ray and Paul realise too late, an old mine hides a deadly secret.

The Mifsuds hope their two sons will make the difference, but it might cost them a massive sapphire. Ray and Paul come badly unstuck with a 40 tonne drill. Todd and Brianna drop a $8000 sapphire.

Storms hit the Gemfields and Max fights his way to the lease, but did the floods destroy his dam? Todd and Brianna face destruction at the claim and Rowan Richardson must act fast to save the mine.

With water in the dam Max and Glenn finally get a break, but their machines break down. Todd and Brianna face a phobia and an unsafe situation.

The Old Timers have bought a new claim sight unseen. The Apprentices try to connect a mine shaft to their underground drive. The Kids strike an agreement with their neighbour, but will it pay off?

The Bushies are back mining hoping for a change of luck. The Richardsons return to an old claim to see if it's worth reopening. Todd and Brianna divide and conquer to keep their business ticking over.

The Mifsuds call on their kids for some desperately needed help. Max and Glen battle unreliable machinery. And Ray finally gets a handful of decent sapphires out of his new claim.

It's ‘Gemfest' time and Todd and Bri are preparing the best gems for sale. The Mifsuds undertake another massive maintenance job. Wet weather forces the Richardsons to reopen an old claim.

Ray takes on the risky job of sawing through a massive gem. Todd and Bri get a whole new appreciation for each other's jobs. The Bushies reckon they've finally hit payday. But is it wishful thinking?

Anthony learns to cut gems while Jodie goes underground to mine alone. The Richardsons dig deep at the old Rabbi Claim. The Old Timers attempt to move a 500 kg Billy Boulder out of the shaft wall.

Ray and Paul return to where they removed a massive boulder. Anthony and Jodie are back with renewed vigor. Matt and Amber need to find sapphires on their claim or they will need a new plan.

Old Timer Ray has another claim, but drilling a hole brings its own set of problems. Plus, Michael and Cherie's claim isn't producing enough sapphires.

Anthony and Jodie get back to the business of finding sapphires. Matt and Amber have gone into partnership with a local miner. Nigel and Rosa dig for gems.

Michael and Cherie head out to their surface claim. Ray and Paul's replace the engine on the drill rig. Rosa gets a crash course in operating the wash plant.

Michael and Cherie are joined by their kids on their surface claim. Matt and Amber are back to square one, luckily Paul comes to the rescue. Ray and Paul head underground looking for a green sapphire!

Anthony and Jodie finally install the ladder in their unused shaft. Matt and Amber start digging underground on their new claim. Nigel gets a ring made for Rosa.
