Adventure set in Iraq on the eve of the battle for Mosul in October 2016. As the war against ISIS, the leader of elite commando group 45 of French Special Forces captures notorious French jihadist Zaid Osman. The prisoner agrees to cooperate on condition that his family are extricated from their position at the heart of where the mass attack of coalition forces is about to take place. 

The day after the launch of the battle of Mosul, commando team 45 return to the sewers to try to locate Fares. Adele sets out to find Salwa with the help of Kurdish intelligence.

The team are under pressure to move Zaid to Paris, so they have to act quickly. Hilaire is tasked with finding an Argentinian doctor who left an NGO abruptly two years earlier.

Adele is forced to wait to interview Zaid, while the team follow the two remaining leads they have for finding his daughter and grandson.

On the mission to locate Salwa, Martin admits to Sab that he has been hard on her and apologises. Adele visits the hospital in Erbil, but she receives shocking news.

Sab has been captured by Isis soldiers, but she cannot be found, despite the assistance of the US army. Zaid promises to help them by reaching a deal with the captors.

After Sab's capture, Group 45 brings in two new special forces operatives and Pierre, an agent from the DGSE. Negotiations with Zaïd are making progress when an attack on the French consulate by one of his lieutenants triggers an operation by the 45.

In order to retrieve Sab, the 45 must protect Zaïd by eliminating a survivor from Qalb Aswad who wants to report him to ISIS.

Zaïd disappears from the radar while Moktar grows increasingly suspicious. Meanwhile, the 45 bypass the DGSE and recruit Soraya as a source, in search of any trace of Sab.

Moktar becomes uncontrollable, and the DGSE begins to question its ties with him.

A joint operation between the DGSE and the 45 is devised to take down Moktar and rescue Sab.

While the DGSE sets a plan in motion to divert Moktar's attention, the 45 launch their assault to extract Sab...
