After a historic first season, “The Golden Bachelor” is set to return to ABC and Hulu. Mel Owens, the 66-year-old former NFL veteran-turned-lawyer, is gearing up to make his next big play as the second Golden Bachelor.

For the first time in Bachelor franchise history, 22 incredible women in the prime of their lives will roll up their stockings and step into the spotlight, hoping to find lasting love with Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner. Ranging in age from 60 to 75, these accomplished golden ladies will take time away from their established home lives, friends and family, in the quest to rediscover love – and perhaps even themselves – in the process, when “The Golden Bachelor” premieres THURSDAY, SEPT. 28..

ABC is finally giving senior men and women another shot at love. The network has officially announced the long-awaited new iteration of The Bachelor franchise, The Golden Bachelor. The spinoff series will premiere this fall on Monday nights, following Dancing with the Stars. An exact premiere date has yet to be announced.
