BBC One is to become the new home for MasterChef: The Professionals

The move from BBC Two reflects the increasing success of the series which has been BBC Two’s highest rating cookery series for the past three years. The last series achieved record audience figures with 3.55 million viewers tuning in to see Stu Deeley raise the prestigious trophy last December.
