The Split Up - Episode Guide

Aria Kishan, a leading divorce lawyer for Manchester's elite, is poised to take the reins from her father, Dhruv, at Kishan Law, the family firm he founded after he moved to the UK from India years ago. She has big aspirations for the company, including moving away from their current premises and expanding at a new upmarket location. But Dhruv wonders if she can take on the responsibility of Kishan Law alone.

Aria's wedding preparations to steady long-term partner Neal have been paused following the tragic death of her mother, Raina, six months ago. Raina was sick, and Aria moved back in with Dhruv to help care for her and has stayed since to make sure her dad was managing. However, her family have decided Aria can't put her life on hold any longer and decide to help by planning a surprise engagement party for her and Neal. This coincides with Luke, a secret former flame of Aria's, arriving at the firm, and all of her well-formed plans for her future start to spiral out of control.

Following the events of the engagement party, Aria is struggling to reach out to Maya. But there is plenty on her plate already, with the ripple effects of Dhruv's shock announcement causing a rift between her and Neal, and throwing obstacles in her path for the Kishan Law move.
