Licensed contractor Josh Temple, along with his Atlanta team, kick down walls to create a more spacious modern yet rustic kitchen by combining sheet metal and reclaimed barn wood into a kitchen island. They also incorporate a slick resin backsplash, poured concrete floor and all new appliances.

This Texas bonus room is a huge storage area, and it's dingy and dark. Homeowner William Emery, an aspiring singer, wants a game room and room to sing. Licensed contractor Josh Temple replaces four slim windows with a four-panel French door that leads out to a huge brand new deck, complete with stairs to access the backyard pool. The old, 70s-style wet bar is transformed into a sound proof vocal booth, and a new L-shaped bar is built and faced with corrugated metal. Original shag carpet is ripped out and hand-scraped hardwood floor is installed. Sleek, colorful ceiling planks incorporated with recessed lights are suspended over the pool table and bar.

Licensed contractor crashes the home office of Craig Wall. It's plain and boring and not used often. In addition, Craig enjoys wine and has bottles throughout the house, so he needs a space for wine storage and tasting. A standard sheetrock ceiling gets a major upgrade with wood planking and beams. An entry transom window is removed and an arch replaces the doorway. A closet is enlarged, insulated, refrigerated and installed with a modular wine rack system. Finally, stone is adhered to a wall and a wine tasting table is made from wine barrels.

Licensed contractor Josh Temple crashes Boston, giving sports fanatics, Chad and Candace Beecher, the "Man Town" basement of their dreams. Sports touches are added everywhere with a photo mural of Fenway Park, Astro-Turf going up the walls, a Green Monster-inspired scoreboard and a massive projector screen for watching the games. Top it off with a black granite bar with stadium-style lighting above and a custom-built poker table with a beer/liquor tap built right in.

House Crashers crashes Boston and finds homeowner John Robinson, who just purchased his grandmother's outdated 1960s home. In fact, every room could use an update, but the den in this house is just screaming for one. From bright orange/red carpet, old knotty pine paneling and 1970s light figures, it was just one dark and dank den aching for a crash. To modernize this living space, licensed contractor Josh Temple, along with his Boston team, tackle every inch of the space transforming the den into an urban-living lounge complete with reclaimed hardwood floor ceiling treatment, metallic cork floors, hip bar niches and a recycled paper-slate-like wall with a brand new entertainment center. To really bring some light into this space, they add modern bi-folding doors to take a once dark den to a whole new level.

Chicago's Ashley and Brian Riordan have a rather ordinary finished basement, and a guestroom that is literally useless. What they need is a great place to entertain, but this space never really fits the bill. You see the problem is low hanging ductwork that stands out like a sore thumb. We're going to take this problem and turn it into a solution by moving the television under it and creating a stylish textured tile wall treatment around it. We'll add new cabinets and a hidden Murphy bed in addition to sleek new flooring and updated kitchenette. Then the crowning jewel will be the custom table with lighted storage.

This family room addition is stuck in the '50s. Vinyl floor, wood paneling and an outdated fireplace add to the overall retro feel. Chicago homeowners spend most of their time in this room and would like to see it transformed into an updated space that's respectful to the rest of the home's classic 1940s bungalow architecture. A dated stone fireplace is replaced with brick veneer, an acoustic ceiling is removed and a built-in banquette adds a craftsman-style dining area. Starting with tearing out the wall dividing the rooms, this renovation will completely change the space, with a new face on fireplace, skylights, completely new kitchen with custom range hood, bamboo and vinyl floors and sliding shoji screens around the walls.

This boring game room was not cutting it for the man of the house. He wanted a place to watch sports with his buddies with the volume turned way up! To transform it into a proper home theater, the room is enclosed with a completely new soundproof wall. The popcorn ceiling is covered with a pattern of random-length lumber, and the tiny window is replaced with a door leading out to the backyard. A DIY television screen is "painted" on the main wall and surrounded with red laminate tiles for a punch of pizzazz. Finally, a cork floor is installed along with a window seat, which includes storage for various television components.

This 10-year-old room addition was dilapidated and in desperate need of an overhaul, plus this tiny house didn't have much room for entertaining. Transforming the space into a lounge begins with tearing down the three rotting walls, rebuilding them, and covering them with stone. The ceiling drywall is removed, exposing a beamed ceiling, and "carpenter" windows are built and installed. Finally, a stand-up bar is built using galvanized metal and suspended shelves are hung from the ceiling.

This young homeowner needs help with her project house. Not one room in the house is complete, so Josh takes his pick and takes on her bedroom! Her blank slate of a room needs some attention! First up, they address the size of her room by raising the ceiling and reusing vintage ceiling tiles. Plus, she's an avid reader and needs a place to store all of her books! So they create floor-to-ceiling bookcases and create a custom library ladder. To complete this bedroom, they create a unique fabric headboard and upgrade to a queen-sized bed!

Josh and crew head to upstate New York to crash DIY Network's Blog Cabin. The cabin's main living space, the great room, is a shell when Josh arrives. In three short days, he builds out the room, giving it a rustic feel. The fireplace surround is covered with stacked stone and the house's original mantel is reused. The hearth and entryway are laid with locally harvested blue stone. The vaulted ceiling is covered with white knotty pine planks, and surrounding ceiling trim is attached and stained. A freetanding closet covered with wood shingles is built near the entry, and a hinged barn door is built and attached. Finally, a farm bench is created using reclaimed wood.

Farmhouse Kitchen

These homeowners love to cook and bake but find that their tired and outdated kitchen just isn't working. The peninsula cuts the kitchen in half, leaving very little work space for prepping pastry or nightly dinners. To help alleviate the tight quarters, the peninsula is removed and new floor cabinets are installed, giving a more open feel and adding storage. A bright solid surface comes in to replace cracked counter tiles, and old flooring is transformed with wide wooden planks. Then, open shelving made with salvaged lumber replaces the old cabinets. Finally, a built-in pantry is removed and replaced with a repurposed piece of furniture.

A room originally planned as an office has turned into a storage space, and these homeowners are stumped and don't know how to make it more functional for the entire family. Luckily, Josh and his crew are ready to turn this space around. Funky cork flooring replaces a dated tile floor, an oversized window is ripped out and replaced with two smaller windows, and a wall divider that serves as bottle storage is built into an existing entryway. A desk is built from salvaged wood to look like a riddling rack, and the plaster ceiling is covered with decorative tiles. Finally, a comfy sofa and TV are the finishing touches that make this room a great space for the family.

This time Josh and the team are taking on a 1980s loft addition on a craftsman home. The goal? To update the space so that it fits in with the rest of the house. First, this two-story loft is fitted with heated reclaimed hardwood floors, a steel-paneled wall, an iron stair rail and custom bookshelves. Then, the space gets some extra surprises when the crew brings in a modern gas fireplace and glass bifold doors.

Oversized furniture dominates this couple's master bedroom, and the result is a cramped and uninviting space. These homeowners want a relaxing space that's calming after a hectic workday. The planks are carried up the wall and onto the vaulted ceiling to make the headboard the focal point of the room. The unused window seat is ripped out to provide additional square footage. Dated shag carpet is replaced with soothing stone tiles for a zen-like feel. A TV is mounted on the wall and flanked with protruding niche boxes, and a console is built for TV components. Finally, the double-door entry is reduced to a single door and the bathroom door is replaced with opaque glass for a sleeker look.

The final reveal is nothing short of jaw dropping and the homeowners are left with a one of a kind renovation to almost half of their home, and all in three days.

Seeing a real need for direction, Josh and the House Crashers crew first tear off all of the paneled walls and add hardwood flooring. Next the space gets divided using first a gigantic door with a distressed Union Jack flag on one side and cork board on the other. Then the rest of the room divider is custom built using huge basket weave patterned modular puzzle pieces. In addition to new furniture, lighting, paint, storage cabinets, and massive desk space, Josh also designs and builds a custom bar height table distressed with blow torches. Speechless is one of the only words the homeowners can come up with when they get to the final reveal of two completely new spaces.

Limestone countertops and beautiful gray tile play off the gray tones in the kitchen and give it some contrast. The Mering family flies cross-country to help Josh and Trey transform an empty event space into a Holiday Oasis for guests in time for opening night. The build includes four tiki huts that need to be framed, painted, covered in bamboo and thatching, then decorated. In addition, a large background frame is built for photo opportunities with characters, and the entire space is decorated to Disney standards. Time is against them and failing is not an option because Disney's Magic Kingdom's Holiday Party starts at 7pm sharp in just three days. Along the way, Josh gets behind-the-scenes access and learns how they wrap a 189-foot castle in Christmas light. The family also learns the secret to making it snow on Magic Kingdom's Main Street in Florida weather. And finally, Josh gets up close and personal while workers install a 65-foot Epcot Icon tree.
