After 5 years in prison, Sergey Nazarov returns home and cannot believe his eyes. The area has become an anomalous zone from which there is no escape. Now Sergey's goal is to save his wife and daughter.

Sergei goes to work for the police and is looking for the daughter of the mayor, who promised to help him save his family. Meanwhile, in the assembly hall of the city Hall, a lottery begins with the exit from the reservation at stake.
 

Sergei finds out that while he was in prison, Zhenya gave birth to a son. Now he dreams of getting both his daughter and the boy out of the reservation. But Tina forbids Sergey to approach Masha.

The parents of the missing children organize pickets, and the police find in the apartment of the fugitive Shapin a wall with a map of the reservation, where the places of residence of families with young children are marked.

Sergey finds out that Masha is hanging out with the underground, and he begs her to come to her senses. Later, the father and daughter find evidence of inhumane experiments, and Sergey begins to understand Masha better.

Sergei reveals the shocking truth about the mayor's daughter and asks him to show the archives of the mayor's office. At night, Nazarov makes a deal with Kalinin, after which he makes a tough scandal for Tina.

Tina continues to rebel, and Kalinin fires her. This becomes a watershed in their relationship. Sergey learns the truth about the reservation's past, and the mayor reveals the nature of the anomaly.

Sergey is getting closer to solving the main mystery of the reservation. Masha is trying to find Oleg. Kirill is tormented by guilt over the past and tells Sergey about life at the very beginning of the anomaly.
