Victoire is a medical secretary and part-time graphic designer. She lives a quiet life in the suburbs with her husband, two teenagers, and her brother, who stays in a cabin in their backyard. But when her husband is badly injured at work, Victoire discovers they are drowning in debt. She hides a secret from her past, a talent : a gift for forgery that once got her into serious trouble in her youth. Desperate to avoid financial ruin, she teams up with her brother to start a forgery business.
