Unfortunately, Darrin thinks Endora cast a spell on his daughter to cause her to age overnight and he tries to catch Serena, who he thinks is a now adult Tabitha.

Aunt Clara visits and believes her powers have finally blown a fuse, but in truth, Tabitha is the culprit. Samantha's new worry is hiding any of Tabitha's magic from the Tates while they're at the house.

While Samantha and Darrin go out for the evening with the Tates, they get Aunt Clara to babysit Tabitha. When Larry and Louise ask at the last minute if Aunt Clara can also babysit their son Jonathan, Samantha feels she has no other choice but to say yes. Aunt Clara decides to use witchcraft to amuse the children, but instead of conjuring up a toy pony as was her intention, she instead conjures up a second Jonathan, identical to the first.

Gerri O'Toole is a wood nymph, who are mortal enemies of witches. Gerry has come to carry out a curse her people placed on Darrin's ancestor, Darrin The Bold, and all of his descendants for murdering her beloved Rufus The Red. Samantha figures the only way to lift the curse is to go back to the time to the 15th Century and stop Darrin The Bold from slaying Rufus The Red.

In the conclusion of a two part episode, Aunt Clara is able to re-conjure up Benjamin Franklin, so that he can stand trial for grand theft for allegedly trying to steal an antique fire engine, and so that Darrin will not forgo the $1,000 he put up for bail. The district attorney is determined to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law as he believes that "Benjamin Franklin" - or whoever he is in real life - is purely a publicity stunt developed by Darrin.

Samantha applies for a loan to tear down a gazebo and to construct a rumpus room. The nosy bank inspector comes down to check out the land and sees a live baby polka dotted elephant mistakenly conjured by Aunt Clara.

Phyllis tells Frank about Samantha, and she tries to show Frank, but her powers have been taken away! Because of all this, Phyllis commits herself to a nursing home, convinced that she is a lunatic.

After being transformed a few times, Samantha decides to take him outside for some air. Arthur states that he feels like Superman, and all of a sudden, he has a Superman suit and flies in the air! This cause major pandemonium in the neighborhood, and Samantha convinces Darrin and Larry that it is great campaign for a client they are working with.

To give Darrin more ambition, Endora puts a spell on him giving him the push and verve that he needs. He takes it a bit too far when he takes control over an account that he and Larry were working on together. Darrin then has no time for Samantha or the children because of this spell and Samantha gets through to him by telling him that he is under a spell and to undo the damage he caused.

With one situation out of the way, Samantha faces another one, getting Darrin cleared of a crime he did not commit.

Darrin and Samantha are sightseeing in Gloucester one day when Sam is called away for a special witches' meeting. Sam suggests that Serena accompany him, which turns out to be a great mistake when they comes across the Fisherman's Memorial statue. To find out more about the statue, Serena blinks him to life and in turn, replaces the statue with Darrin! Larry and a new client, Mr. Barrows, decide to meet Darrin and Samantha does all that she can to get Darrin out of a very preposterous situation.

Esmeralda accidentally sends Sam to 17th century Salem during the time of the witch hunts, and Sam has no memory of who or what she is.
