Digital Eye is a new investigative journalism program making full use of geospatial and open source data to seek the truth behind important social issues. In this episode, we focus on Winter Olympics sustainability. Although China promised to deliver a "Green and Clean Games," it had to rely largely on artificial snow. We conducted a satellite survey to verify the sustainability of the Winter Olympics. With the threatening issue of climate change, can the Winter Olympic Games remain viable?

What came to light was the harsh reality of how incoming forces segregated people based on their perceived support for Russia. Also revealed were some of the activities of a covert network of Russians supporting Ukrainian refugees.
